Chocolate Care

To preserve the signature quality of authentic Belgian chocolate, store it in a cool, dark, and dry place between60°F–68°F (15°C–20°C).Avoid letting the temperature exceed70°F (21°C)or exposing it to high humidity, direct light, or strong odors.

Why Belgian Chocolate Requires Extra Care

  • 100% Pure Cocoa Butter: Traditional Belgian chocolate is crafted with pure cocoa butter, never vegetable oil alternatives, giving it its signature silky "melt-in-your-mouth" texture and distinct snap. However, high cocoa butter content makes it exceptionally sensitive to temperature swings.

  • Risk of Fat Bloom: Exceeding 70°F causes the cocoa butter to separate and migrate to the surface. When it cools back down, it leaves a harmless white, streaky coating (fat bloom) that compromises both its glossy finish and velvety mouthfeel.
